What to Expect
Much like it is when you are at home our church is very relaxed, as it should be when you are with family. We have no formal rituals or dress code for attending services at The Living Room. You can feel very comfortable coming “as you are”.
You and your family will be greeted by friendly people as you enter the door, and these folks can help direct you to the nursery, pre-school and elementary programs for your children. They will also offer you a weekly programme that gives some insight into the service “theme of the day” and upcoming events for The Living Room. Don’t be afraid to ask questions . . . that is what we are there for.
Our services typically begin with worship through music. Then, in each of our services, we take a 6 – 7 minute break to enjoy coffee, donuts, and conversation with friends. You can visit or remain seated in the auditorium and enjoy videos on the large screen. Then, following a time of teaching, we invite people to respond to the message through music, prayer, and the Lord’s Supper. There is no pressure to do anything except relax . . . we invite people to respond, as they are comfortable.
The coffee shop is open early so come early, enjoy the pre-service music, conversation and meet some new friends.
